COLOUR THERAPY

Colour is simply light of varying wavelengths, thus each colour has its own particular wavelength and energy. The energy relating to each of the seven colours of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet . Each colour of the energy each of the seven main chakras of the body. Balance of the energy in each of the body’s chakra very important for health and well being. Colour therapy can help to re-balance or stimulate these energies by applying the appropriate colour to the body and therefore rebalance the seven chakra.

1. Root chakra or muladhara: Red colour

2. Spleen chakra or svadhistana: orange

3. Solar plexus or Manipura: yellow

4. Heart chakra or anahata : green

5. Purification or visudhi : blue

6. Third eye or ajna : indigo

7. Crown or sahasra: violet

Colour therapy helps to colour is absorbed by the eyes, skin and skull and electromagnetic field. Colour is simply a form of visible light. All the primary colours reflected in the rainbow carry their own unique healing properties. Sun alone is a wonderful healer; colour is simply a form of visible light, electromagnetic energy.

Living under a pro colour rooms, wearing colours clothing would give a good benefit. Similarly sitting daylight during a specific time, the colours you wear can reflect your emotional behaviour. Alternative medicine also uses light in the practice of colour therapy. With the colour therapy, there are different associations, attributes and possible benefits to each colour.

· Spleen chakra - bladder, prostate, ovaries, gallbladder, spleen

· Solar chakra - intestine, pancreas, liver , bladder, stomach, upper spine

· Heart chakra – heart, lungs

· Purification chakra – throat , bronchial tubes, vocal cards, respiratory system

· Third eye chakra –eyes , pituitary gland and pineal gland

· Crown chakra –spinal cord and brain
